Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Recoup is a product operated by Amiri AI ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Recoup calculators, the Recovery Pack, and the Recoup Pro subscription (together, the "Service"). By purchasing or using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. What the Service does

• Calculates the interest and fixed compensation that may be claimable on a commercial (business-to-business) overdue invoice, based on the figures and jurisdiction you provide.
• Generates document drafts (an interest ledger and escalating demand letters) for you to review, edit, and send yourself.
• Recoup Pro provides ongoing access to generate packs across multiple invoices.

3. What the Service is not

• Not legal or financial advice. Outputs are automated estimates based on your inputs and general rules. Contracts, agreed terms, and the specific facts of a dispute may change what is actually claimable.
• Not debt collection. We do not contact your debtors, take assignment of any debt, or collect money on your behalf. Recoup is not a regulated debt collection agency and does not carry out regulated debt collection.
• Business (B2B) debts only. The Service is intended for debts owed by one business to another. It is not for consumer debts. You must not use it to pursue an individual consumer.

4. Your responsibilities

• You confirm the invoice is a genuine, undisputed commercial debt and that the figures you enter are accurate.
• You are responsible for reviewing every draft before sending and for how you use it.
• For any material, disputed, or complex matter you should take advice from a qualified solicitor or accountant in the relevant jurisdiction before acting.

5. Payment, subscriptions and refunds

• The Recovery Pack is a one-time digital product. Recoup Pro is a recurring monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• Because the deliverable is generated and delivered digitally on purchase, if you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days for a full refund of a Recovery Pack. Pro subscription fees already charged for a completed month are non-refundable, but you can cancel to prevent future charges.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

6. No guarantee of outcome

We do not guarantee that any debtor will pay, that any interest will be recovered, or that any figure shown will be upheld. The Service helps you calculate and communicate a claim; the outcome depends on factors outside our control.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your decision to send, not send, or rely on any document.

8. Data

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where you provide details about a debtor, you confirm you are entitled to share that information with us for the purpose of generating your documents.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law where you are based provides otherwise.
